Challenges we faced when organizing this online event:
- How can we organize an interesting award ceremony in a COVID-dictated world? We started with mandatory COVID-19 tests for all involved in organizing the event.
- How to rediscover an event that already has several years of tradition? It was always based on meeting people together, and was never organized remotely live.
- How to keep viewers engaged during a 2-hour long broadcast? More than 100 winners were to receive awards virtually that evening.
Together with Deep Grey agency and bank employees, we focused on a lot of interaction. That’s why throughout the event I had a tablet in my hand, from which I not only read the names of presenters but also engaged in chats with the participants. This was important because the bank’s employees communicated there. The conversation was dynamic and new threads kept popping up. I not only read the statements, but also proposed further topics of conversation. So you can say that we got a real dialogue.
And although Mela Koteluk recorded her musical performance earlier, during the event we connected live. All this to talk about the emotions accompanying the concert. We also announced some parts together. The reception of the event was very good, as evidenced by this photo sent by one of the viewers 🙂
